YONKERS, N.Y. A Yonkers teen is recovering after plunging from a third-floor window Sunday evening.
Police said the 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after she was found unconscious outside a multifamily home on Mulberry Avenue around 7:42 p.m., Sunday.
Yonkers police spokesman Detective Lt. Patrick McCormack said Monday it is unclear if the girl jumped or fell from the window. It was also unclear how severe her injuries were and McCormack said he was unsure if she remained hospitalized as of Monday afternoon.
In responding to earlier reports the teen may have been the victim of a Facebook harassment incident, however, McCormack said there is no indication of any type of cyber bullying" at this time.
