Yonkers Fire Union Votes No Confidence In Darcy

YONKERS, N.Y. -- After being accused of throwing a fire lieutenant to the ground during a Christmas party, Yonkers Fire Department Commissioner John Darcy has received a vote of no confidence from the department's union, according to News 12 Westchester.

The alleged incident on Dec. 11 occurred at the Fairways at Dunwoodie, according to News 12.

Lt. Michael O'Connor was thrown to the ground after tossing a cloth napkin that mistakenly hit Darcy in the eye, according to News 12. 

A city spokesperson told News 12 that Darcy was thrown off after being struck and believed he was being attacked.
