Two Yonkers Police Officers Seriously Injured In Car Accident

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Two Yonkers police officers received substantial injuries during a car accident Wednesday at the intersection of Kimball Avenue and Mile Square Road, according to lohud.com.

Both officers were taken to a nearby trauma center with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, following the accident with a sedan driven by an unidentified woman, said lohud.com.

The other driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police are continuing their investigation into the accident, added lohud.com.
