House Destroyed In Yonkers Fire

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A Yonkers fire on Sunday, Nov. 24 has left a family of four homeless, according to LoHud.com. 

The Yonkers Fire department was unable to save a house that was consumed by flames on Sunday, Nov. 24.

The fire was reported at 10:24 p.m. on Sunday night. Despite fighting the blaze, the home was still deemed a total loss, LoHud.com reported. 

No family members were injured in the fire, however, three firefighters suffered minor injuries from slipping on ice in the sub-freezing temperatures, according to LoHud.com.
