It took 50 firefighters about an hour to squelch the Wednesday blaze at a multi-family house on Lamartine Avenue, lohud.com reported.
Five firefighters were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to lohud.com.
Red Cross volunteers are helping 13 adults and five children who lived in the four-family residence, which sustained significant water damage, lohud.com reported.
