YONKERS, N.Y. -- Stanley "Stan" Waitzman, 89, of Yonkers, died Sunday, Sept. 13.
He was born April 21, 1926, to the late Hyman and Edna (Miller) Waitzman.
He was the husband of the late Rachel Waitzman; and father of Cindy Gentile, Osvaldo Gonzalez, Danny (Anne-Louise) Waitzman, Glenn (Paula) Waitzman, and Karen (Garry) Ferro.
He was the grandfather of 14, great-grandfather of one, and brother-in-law of Nina and Peggy Waitzman.
The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home Inc. in Eastchester on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 4-8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe.
Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
