YONKERS, N.Y. – Rose Marie Cerrato, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Jan. 10 after a brief illness. She was 87.
The daughter of Charles J. and Agnes Malangone Pecora, she was born Jan. 27, 1925, in Yonkers. She was married to Alphonse A. Cerrato, who predeceased her. She worked as a legal secretary at the Westchester County Department of Probation.
Rose Cerrato is survived by two sons, Yonkers City Court Judge Robert C. Cerrato and Stephen A. Cerrato; a daughter-in-law, Patricia (Kuss) Cerrato; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Monday at St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers. Sinatra Memorial Home handled arrangements.
