YONKERS, N.Y. Ronald Melvin Dessesow of Yonkers died Aug. 2 after a long illness. He was 61.
The son of the late Paul and Lulla Mae Dessesow, he was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Wesley; five sisters, Doris (Russell) Boston, of White Plains, Antoinette Worrell, Vivian (Roland) Carter, Joyce Coleman and Regina (Leory) Adams, all of Yonkers; and a granddaughter. He was predeceased by a sister, Anna Mae Fields; and three brothers, David, Paul and Alfonzo.
A wake will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Yonkers. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, at the church.
