YONKERS, N.Y. -- Robert Peteshel, 85, a longtime resident of Yonkers, died Saturday, July 4.
Peteshel was born April 25, 1930, in New York City to John and Margaret (Sabol) Peteshel.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Prattella) Peteshel; his children, Debbie (Liam) McLoughlin, John Peteshel, Robert (Jane) Peteshel and Patricia Abrusci; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Rosemarie Koda and Margaret Clohessy.
Visitation is Tuesday, from 3-8 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, at 9:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Yonkers.
