Tocci was born born Nov. 18, 1936, son of Isadore and Rose Tocci. He was a long time resident of Yonkers and lived in Palm Coast, Fla., but due to his illness was residing in Yorktown Heights. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1957 and then transferred to the reserves from 1957 to 1961. He worked as a florist, carpenter, and finally retired as a Yonkers police officer with over 25 years of service.
Tocci is survived by his wife, Armande; daughters, Angela (Ron Lamanna) and Dina (Mark Morra); stepchildren, Manon (Aldo) and Jackie (Stephan); three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Eddie, Benny, Andy, Albert Isadore; and sister, Elizabeth Pollack. He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Veto, Eugene (Chief), Joseph (Skippy), Angela Vetrano (Tootsie), Camille Abbondola (Mela) and Rose Olshakowski.
Calling hours are Thursday, July 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Yorktown Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church 1377 East Main St., Shrub Oak, NY 10588.
