Paul P. Oteri, 94, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Paul P. Oteri, of Yonkers, died on Monday, Sept. 7, at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. He was 94.

Oteri was born on Feb. 14, 1921, in the Bronx to Albino and Grazia Oteri.

He served in the military during World War II and worked as a butcher in Yonkers for 46 years after his service.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula De Nunzio and her husband, Enzo; two sons, Gary and his wife, Cathy, and Ronald; and four grandchildren, Kayla, Rita, Ronald and Sue.

Oteri was predeceased by his wife Rita, two brothers and three sisters.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc. in New City, with funeral services at 8 p.m.

Private interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
