YONKERS, N.Y. -- Michael James Corbett of Yonkers, a retired New York Police Department officer, died Thursday, April 14.
After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, Corbett joined the NYPD and served in PSA 6.
He was the husband of Susan (nee Holland); father of Michael (Kate), Meghan (Rocco) Venusio and Colleen; grandfather of Kingsley Eileen Corbett; brother of Francis (Kathy), Thomas and the late John; and son of the late John and Eileen Corbett.
Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home in Bronxville are 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday, April 18. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Fleetwood.
