Fata was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Cosenza, Italy to Antonio and Maria Grazia Gaudio Fata. He was a proprietor and chef at Peppino's Restaurant and Louie's Pizzeria, in the Bronx, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Luisa Greco Fata; three children, Anthony Fata, Joseph Fata and Maria Reda; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, at Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at Christ the King Church in Yonkers. Entombment will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
