Joseph P. Cioffi, 91, Of Yonkers, WWII Veteran

YONKERS, N.Y. - Joseph P. Cioffi of Yonkers died Oct. 31. He was 91.

Cioffi was born Dec. 19, 1921, to John and Rose (nee Cardone) Cioffi. He was the proprietor of a Sunoco Gas Station in Long Island City. He served during World War II in the United States Army Air Corp.

Cioffi is survived by his wife, Rose (nee Ferrara) Cioffi; children, John J. (Susan) Cioffi and Christine A. (Scott) McQuistion; five grandchildren; and siblings, Felix Cioffi and Gloria Lombardo. He was predeceased by his parents.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704 with Interment to Follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
