YONKERS, N.Y. – Jerome Parker of Yonkers died Monday, Feb. 9, at the age of 95.
He was born Dec. 24, 1919, in New York to the late Tonchen and Lena Polchitsky. He worked for the A&P headquarters in New York City as a chemical engineer.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda and her husband, Richard, Idalene and her husband, Alan; three grandchildren, Taryn and her husband, Marlon, Dayna and her husband, Chris, Jessi and her husband, Jermaine; and three great-grandchildren: JR, Milania and Kayla.
Jerome was predeceased by his wife, Ruth.
He was an active member of the Democratic Club, president of the Men's Club at Mid-Chester Jewish Center and an avid member of the Harry Modell Bowling League.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, at noon at Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 1652 Central Park Ave., Yonkers.
Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, N.J. No shiva will be observed.
