YONKERS, N.Y. - James V. Occhiogrosso (Giacomo), a lifelong resident of Yonkers, died July 22. He was 92.
Occhiogrosso was born to Dominick and Rose Florio Occhiogrosso. He was a machinist at Phelps Dodge prior to his retirement and a member of Local 3 IBEW.
Occhiogrosso is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Keith ) Eichhorn; brother, Joseph Occhiogrosso; sister, Mary Ferro; and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine Laudadio Occhiogrosso; and siblings, Anthony, Guy, Rafaella, Anna, Tom and Dominick.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flower Funeral Home Inc., 714 Yonkers Ave. A Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25 at the Sacred Heart Church. Interment at Mt. Hope.
