YONKERS, N.Y. - Isabel C. Roth (nee Chesney) of Yonkers died July 8. She was 90.
Roth was born in 1922, to John and Isabel Chesney in Glasgow, Scotland, she was educated in Scotland until coming to the U.S. where she graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers.
Roth worked as a secretary to the vice president and treasurer of R.H. Macy Co. for five years and later was a secretary at City Hall in Yonkers for 25 years. She was a past member of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church in Yonkers.
Roth is survived by her sons, Donald (Diane) Roth and Steven (Donna) Roth; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Roth.
Calling hours are Wednesday, July 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Flynn Memorial Home, Central Park Ave. A Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
