Born May 16, 1934, in Salerno, Italy, she was the daughter of Gaetano and Alfonsina Romanelli Orlotti.
Her family described her as a "fantastic cook."
She is survived by her husband, Felice Dametta; six children, Aniello (Rosario) Dametta, Joseph (Kathleen) Dametta, Anthony (Shannon) Dametta, Maria (Robert) Ross, Virginia (Nick) DiMarino and Irene (Fred) Laino; nine siblings; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday St. Ann's Church in Yonkers. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
