YONKERS, N.Y. - Helen Nalesnik, formerly of Yonkers died Jan. 26. She was 90.
Nalesnik was born Dec. 17, 1923, to Timothy and Stefanie Karniewich on the East Side of Manhattan where she was raised and attended local schools. After her marriage to Theodore Nalesnik she moved to Nepera Park, Yonkers. She later moved to Connecticut to live with her daughter.
Nalesnik is survived by her children, Theodore and Claudia; and two grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, Jan. 31 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home with a service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the Ferncliff Cemetery.
