SOUTH CAROLINA - Heath White, of South Carolina and formerly of Yonkers, died March 31. He was 47.
White was born in Yonkers on Dec. 31, 1965, to Gail Thomas Creighton and Theodore White. He attended Gorton High School and was the Men's director at the Owl's Nest Recovery Community in South Carolina.
White is survived by his mother, Gail (Norman) Thomas Creighton of Florence, S.C.; stepmother, Mary White of Greenburgh; daughters, Linda Osborne and Brittany White both of Yonkers; a son, Jon Heath White of White Plains; two grandchildren; sisters, Sabina and Veronica White of Yonkers; step-siblings, Jack, Kirk, Jerry, Felton and Calvin Williams, and Dawn Williams Clyner; three aunts and two uncles; and many friends. He was predeceased by his father; and his grandparents, Clinton and Fannie White and Charles and Mildred Thomas.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Flower Funeral Home Inc., 714 Yonkers Ave. A service will be held Saturday, April 6, at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery.
