YONKERS, N.Y. – Hannamae Thalle Karpenick, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Nov. 20 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home after a prolonged illness. She was 94.
Karpenick was born Aug. 24, 1918, to Charles Edward and Emma Corwin Mostberger. She was predeceased by her first husband, Louis Anthony Thalle; her second husband, Michael Karpenick; and a sister, Myrtle Mynarski.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Thalle; a niece, Phyllis Cranwell Borek; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining, with a service following at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Greenburgh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Phelps Hospice, 701 N. Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10562.
