Frank J. Longbucco, Sr., 73, Of Yonkers, Korean War Veteran

YONKERS, N.Y. - Frank J. Longbucco, Sr. of Yonkers died Thursday, July 11. He was 73.

Longbucco wa born Aug. 6, 1939, to Frank and Christine (Miko) Longbucco in Yonkers where he was raised, and graduated from Gorton High School. He worked for Local # 137 Operating Engineers for over 41 years; retiring in 2001. He was a Korean war veteran.

Longbucco is survived by his wife, Sandra; children, Frank Jr., William (Christine) Longbucco and Lisa (Craig) Stofko; four grandchildren; sisters, Joan Huxta and Susan Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 15 at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church. Committal Service at Ferncliff Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital 1 St. Jude Way Memphis, Tenn.

The Whalen and Ball Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
