Frank Centore, 90, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. - Frank Centore of Yonkers died Nov. 5. He was 90.

Centore was born in N.J., to Guiseppi and Maria Iannocelli Centore. He was a carpenter with The New York City District Council of Carpenters and a member of the Coyne Park Senior Group.

Centore is survived by his children, Marie (John) Metrick, Phyllis Lerner (Hans) Schindheim, Frank C. (Carolyn) Centore and Lois (Angelo) Arena; brother, Domenic (Rose) Centore; brother-in-law, Mamie Centore; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and wife, Yolanda Clemente Centore.

Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Flower Funeral Home Inc., 714 Yonkers Ave. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Interment at Mt. Hope.
