YONKERS, N.Y. – Florence A. Toppi, of Yonkers, died on Wednesday, April 15. She was 86.
Toppi was born on Jan. 18, 1929, to Peter and Madeline Piacquardio in Elwood City, Pa.,
She worked in the accounts payable department of CiIBA-Geigy until her retirement.
She is survived by her two children, Richard Toppi, Susan Labate and her husband, David, three grandchildren, Nicole, Michael and Thomas, five great-grandchildren, her brother Peter Piacquadio, sister Frances Delbene and sister-in-law Frances Classey.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Toppi.
Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service is set for Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
