YONKERS, N.Y. - Fay Kozakiewicz (nee Piarulli) of Yonkers died Tuesday, Oct. 1. She was 88.
Kozakiewicz was born Feb. 13, 1925, to Christopher and Teresa Piarulli in Yonkers where she was raised and attended local schools.
Kozakiewicz is survived by her children, Richard (Tresa) Kozakiewicz of Ossining and Suzanne (William) McBride of Cortland Manor; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Ben and Thomas Piarulli; and sister, Mary Coshigano. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Kozakiewicz; and siblings Sammy Piarulli and Laura Radilosso.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, Ossining. Interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery.
