Eugene Tringali, 85, County Inspector, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Eugene Tringali, a former Yonkers resident, of Fishkill, N.Y., died July 11. He was 85. 

Born Sept. 1, 1926, in Kalamazoo, Mich., he was the son of Margaret Flatt and Anthony Tringali. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired as a building inspector for Westchester County after 25 years. 

Tringali married Alice Chiulli of June 6, 1954. He enjoyed golf, gardening, listening to music and spending time with his grandchildren.  

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Paul (Marie) and Anthony; and two grandchildren. 

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, at Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew's Church in Yonkers. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
