Dominick L. Cioppa, 84, Of Yonkers, Worked For Metro North Railroad

YONKERS, N.Y. - Dominick L. Cioppa of Yonkers died March 26. He was 84.

Cioppa was born to Frank and Elizabeth Pezzulo Cioppa. He was a sergeant 1st class in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean Conflict, and then worked at Metro North Railroad. He was a member of IBEW Local 3, the American Legion, KFC LaRabida Council 166, and a parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church on Park Hill Avenue.

Cioppa is survived by his wife, Margaret DePasquale Cioppa; children, Rosemarie (Paul) Patrick, Marianne Mueller, Frank Cioppa, Dominick Cioppa II and Anthony (Brenda) Cioppa; sister, Mary; brother, Frank; and four grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Don Cioppa.

Calling hours are Sunday, March 30 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Flower Funeral Home Inc. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31 at Mt. Carmel Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
