YONKERS, N.Y. - Dolores Maitre of Yonkers died Oct. 10. She was 84.
Maitre was born July 2, 1929, to Joseph and May Maitre in Yonkers, where she was raised and educated. She was a secretary for the New York Central Railroad for many years.
Maitre is survived by her cousins, Robert and Patricia Maitre, Carol and George Whalen, Jean and Nick Bauso, Helene and Arnold Finkel; nephew, nieces; numerous cousins; and friend, Norma Kutler.
Calling hours are Monday, Oct. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Sacred Heart Church with interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
