Hicks was born Dec. 1, 1967, to Jerry and Silvia (Beamon) Hicks in Harlem. He was a retired teacher’s assistant for the Yonkers school system. He lived in Cairo, Egypt, at the time of his death.
Hicks is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Pina; mother, Silvia of Yonkers; children, Federico Rodriquez and Melissa Rodriquez; a granddaughter; brother, Jerry; and nephews.
Calling hours are Wednesday, March 5 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 12:30 p.m. Committal service will follow at Ferncliff Chapel.
