YONKERS, N.Y. - Beatrice O'Rourke (nee Kupcok) of Yonkers died Wednesday, April 9. She was 96.
O’Rourke was born March 21, 1918, to Paul and Eva (Gloner) Kupcok in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Commerce High School. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church, and was a former member of the Mother's Guild at Sacred Heart.
O'Rourke is survived by her children, James J. O'Rourke, Jr. of Athens, N.Y., and Gail O'Rourke of Yonkers; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. O'Rourke; daughter-in-law, Patricia; brother, John Kupcok; and sister, Zora Klasic.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, April 14 at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
