Antoinette Bottali, 84, Lifelong Yonkers Resident

YONKERS, N.Y. – Antoinette Vece Bottali, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Nov. 15. She was 84.

Born Sept. 19, 1928, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Emilia Cerrato Vece. She worked as an executive secretary for Tom Carvel of Carvel Inc. for many years. Bottali also worked for the Carvel Foundation.  She served as vice president of Senior Citizens Group 5 on Willow Street.

She was predeceased by her husband William W. Bottali, her husband Joseph Stofko, a son Mark Bottali; and two brothers, Nicholas and Ronald Vece. She is survived by two sons, Gregory Bottali, of Mahopac, N.Y., and Joseph (Cynthia) Bottali, of New Windsor, N.Y.; two daughters, Lisa (Robert) Weigel, of Dover Plains, N.Y., and Lisa (Dominick) Gaglianese, of Stamford, Conn.; six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Carmel Church in Yonkers. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Yonkers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
