The committee is accepting nominations of residents over the age of 50 for its annual award ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at Dunwoodie Golf Course at 1 Wasylenko Lane in Yonkers.
"55Plus is looking for those individuals who are grass roots hidden heroes, giving of their time, talents and skills to make a difference," representatives said. "Each year we select candidates who go the extra mile on a regular basis to help others."
