“The Yonkers Federation of Teachers strongly endorses Noam Bramson for Westchester County Executive,"  Pat Puleo, president of the union said in a statement. "During difficult budgetary times, Noam Bramson has demonstrated a keen ability to successfully collaborate with working men and women to build a safer, more fiscally sound community. Our children will benefit from his deep understanding of family needs balanced with strong fiscal integrity.”

Bramson, a Democrat, said this endorsement means a great deal to him personally and for his campaign.

"I am honored to receive the support of educators who are so hard at work for our children," said Bramson. "As a graduate of Westchester public schools and a parent of two kids in Westchester public schools, this endorsement is especially meaningful to me. I know the impact a teacher can have on his or her students' lives, and I'll work with the YFT to ensure all our children get a great education."
