Yonkers Schools Closed Friday; Mayor Declares State Of Emergency

YONKERS, N.Y -- The Yonkers School District announced Thursday that schools will be closed Friday, Jan. 3, because of the expected snowstorm.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano declared a state of emergency for the city Thursday night.

Bus transportation for private, parochial and Out of District Special Education is also canceled.
