Yonkers Police Report Shooting, Stabbing, Chase

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A 25-year-old local man was shot outside a Yonkers deli and grocery on the corner of Ashburton Avenue and North Broadway on Sunday, according to News 12.

Yonkers police were kept busy on Sunday with numerous crimes, including a shooting outside a deli and grocery store.

Police said the unidentified man was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, where he was in reported to be in serious condition. They have not revealed details surrounding the shooting but did say that he works at the deli, said News 12.

In addition to the shooting, other crimes reported in Yonkers on Sunday night included a woman being stabbed, an assault outside a restaurant and a police chase, added News 12.
