WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A Yonkers gang member has been sentenced to more than three decades in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges earlier this year.

Joon Kim, the acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York announced that Kevin Wiltshire has been sentenced in White Plains federal court to a prison term of 30 years and one day for crimes allegedly committed during his time as part of the Yonkers’ street game “Cruddy 650.”

Wiltshire pleaded guilty in April to participating in his gang’s racketeering conspiracy, to using and carry illegal firearms to further that conspiracy and to using a firearm to murder a man in Florida three years ago.

According to Kim, Cruddy 650 was founded in 2013 as the result of an alliance of gang members in various parts of Yonkers uniting. Members and associates, “protected and promoted the gang’s power and territory, and sought to enrich its members through acts of violence, intimidation, and the sale of illegal drugs.”

The gang is allegedly responsible for multiple shootings, attempted murders, robberies and drug distribution, Kim noted, including the May 26, 2014 murder of a Greenacres, Florida man who was shot in the head of a Walmart parking lot by Wiltshire following a dispute. Wiltshire was also implicated in a 2014 shooting on Oliver Street in Yonkers, when he shot into a crowd at a rival gang member.

Wiltshire was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder charge, five years for weapons charges, and one day for the racketeering charge, which will all run consecutively, followed by five years’ supervised release.

“Kevin Wiltshire and his fellow gang members wrought havoc on the City of Yonkers through shootings, drug distribution, and robberies," Kim stated. "They also took their mayhem on the road, with disastrous consequences for Andre Folsom, whom Wiltshire murdered in Greenacres, Florida, in a senseless act of violence. Thanks to the hard work of the FBI and Yonkers Police Department, Wiltshire and the other members of Cruddy 650 have been brought to justice.”
