Yonkers Among Five Cities Competing For Energy Grants

YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers is one of five cities competing for $20 million in state grants for energy-saving projects, reports LoHud.

Yonkers, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany will compete in the extension of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s 2014 program, in which each city worked with New York State to create individual energy plans according to the report.
