YONKERS, N.Y. – Two of Yonkers’ top pooches will be competing in this year’s Westminster dog show in New York City, according to a report in lohud.

Owner Loretta Iazzetti and her rat terrier and Portuguese pedengo pequeno are already big winners in the world of canine competition, the lohud story said.

Several thousand dogs will strut their stuff in the hound, toy, non-sporting, and herding groups on Monday, Feb. 15, and in the sporting, working, and terrier groups on Tuesday, Feb. 16, according to the Westminster Kennel Club’s website.

The daytime events will take place at The Piers 92/94, 55th Street and West Side Highway. The evening events are scheduled for Madison Square Garden, W. 33rd Street and 7th Avenue.
