The crash happened after a driver traveling southbound, north of Tuckahoe Road, hit the guardrail, spinning his vehicle into oncoming traffic, spolice said.
The driver was then hit by two other vehicles, with other vehicles continuing to crash into the original wreck with a total of nine vehicles involved in the crash, police said.
