The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 38-year-old Terrance Jones, who has moved to an apartment on Highland Avenue in Yonkers.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Jones as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Jones had sexual intercourse and deviate sexual intercourse with his 10-year-old victim in September 1998. He was convicted of first-degree sexual assault in March the following year and sentenced to a term of between three and six years in state prison. Jones is now under the jurisdiction of the Yonkers City Police Department SOR Unit.
