Search For Missing Yonkers Dog Moves Through 2nd Week

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A trio of dog owners from Yonkers are searching for an 8-year-old poodle/Maltese mix missing since Saturday, June 11.

According to a post on the Lost Pets of Westchester Facebook page, Max, a "small, black and white dog with short curly hair," was last seen wearing a red collar near Hayward Street and Yonkers Avenue.

The animal is said to be unfriendly toward strangers, but anyone who sees him is urged to contact Julissa at 914-979-0554, JC at 646-589-2816 or Reni at 646-977-1076.

"We miss him dearly and will appreciate any help we can get," said a flier currently being used in the search.
