Ridge Hill In Yonkers Celebrates Moms In Pre-Mother's Day Event

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Families gathered at Westchester's Ridge Hill for an early Mother's Day celebration, "Celebrate Mom" this past weekend in the Town Square.

The celebration featured a variety of Mother's Day-themed activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano was on hand to kick off the festivities, followed immediately by a family-friendly fashion show hosted by White House | Black Market which featured some of Ridge Hill’s most exciting retailers.

Celebrate Mom was a chance for the entire family to partake in activities together, which included, a Mother’s Day card decorating station sponsored by Whole Foods Market, personal training sessions with Dick’s Sporting Goods and cosmetics tutorials by Sephora. Visitors were also treated to samplings of food, wines and drinks from Ridge Hill’s WineZetta, Frannie’s Goodie Shop and Starbucks.

Deals were offered at LEGOLAND, Discovery Center and L.L. Bean. There was also a preview of Ridge Hill’s newest retailer The Container Store.

The day’s events were held in partnership with AFYA Foundation to help raise money for their cause of providing healthcare solutions in under-served communities everywhere.
