Report: Two In Custody In Case Of Yonkers 3-Year-Old Who Was Shot

YONKERS, N.Y. — Two Yonkers teens have been taken into custody in connection with gunplay Friday that accidentally wounded a preschooler in her arm, according to lohud.com.

Detectives said a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were detained by police after the shooting, which was reported at about 4:30 p.m. Friday around Palisade Avenue and Locust Hill Avenue, lohud.com reported.

Police said the shooting was the result of a fight among several people, the newspaper reported. The 3-year-old girl was taken to the Jacobi Medical Center’ and is listed in good condition, lohud.com reported.
