Overnight Closure Of Exit 4 On-Ramp To I-87 In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- The New York State Thruway Authority today announced the overnight closure of the exit 4 on-ramp to the southbound Thruway (I-87) from Central Park Avenue in Yonkers for routine highway maintenance.

The project will be completed in accordance with Governor Cuomo’s Driver’s First Initiative, which prioritizes convenience and minimizes disruptions for drivers.

The closure begins this evening, August 11, at 10 p.m. continuing through 5 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12.

Motorists should follow posted detour signs to enter the southbound Thruway from Central Park Avenue at exit 3.

All work is weather dependent and subject to change. The rain date for this project is the evening of Wednesday, August 12.
