Oil On Road Leads To Mile Square Closure

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A stretch Mile Square Road in Yonkers will be closed from Kimball Avenue to Crescent Place due to oil on the roadway Thursday, Yonkers Police said.

Con Edison is working in the area.

Members of the Yonkers PD Traffic Division are at the scene and currently diverting traffic away from the area.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route if possible. It is unknown at this time when the roadway will reopen.
