Lost Dog Rescued In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – A Yonkers animal shelter is trying to reunite a little lost doggie with his owners.

This little pup was found wandering Thursday near Saratoga Avenue in the south of Yonkers. If you recognize him, please call the Yonkers Animal Shelter.

The tan, mild-mannered pooch was found Thursday near Saratoga Avenue on the city’s south side, the Yonkers Animal Shelter said in a Facebook post.

The dog is staying with the woman who found him, the post said.

Anyone who knows who the wayward canine belongs to can call the shelter at (914) 377-6730 until 4 p.m. or at (201) 981-3215 after hours, and the folks there will put them in touch with the pup’s rescuer.

The shelter is at 120 Fullerton Ave.
