Last Chance To Nominate Yonkers Properties For Their 'Curb Appeal'

YONKERS, N.Y. – Friday is the last day to nominate Yonkers residents for their property's outdoor appearance in Mayor Mike Spano’s first Curb Appeal Awards.

Residents can submit nominations online in one of three categories: landscaping, exterior improvement and creativity/originality.  Photos of the property should be submitted with a description of the candidate’s property.

Criteria for the contest is as follows:

  • The property has a pleasant appearance, is well-maintained and contributes to community appearance
  • A recent effort was made to improve and enhance the appearance of the property
  • The property owner demonstrates originality and creativity
  • The property stands out as an attractive property in its neighborhood
