Yonkers Free Wi-Fi Served With A Side Of Fries

YONKERS, N.Y. – If you’re anything like Michelle Andresen of Yonkers you are always on the lookout for free Wi-Fi.  A recent college graduate, the freelance graphic designer saves money floating from one hotspot to the next.

“I’ve got students loans to pay, rent, car insurance and a whole lot of debt,” the 24 year old said. “Free Wi-Fi saves me from getting one of those expensive cable packages.”

So where can you score the best free Wi-Fi?

“I’m all over the place,” Andresen said. “People mostly go to Starbucks, but spending five bucks on delicious coffee is too tempting. So to avoid that I can spend a dollar on coffee at McDonald’s.”

In fact most McDonald's in the Yonkers and Bronxville area are equipped with free Wi-Fi.

“You don’t necessarily need to buy anything, but then you kind of have to deal with all the weird looks,” Andresen said. “To avoid that you can sip on a 99 cent coffee and work freely from open to close.”
