The Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District and the city Department of Veterans Services hosted a salute to veterans from 6:30-8 p.m. as part of the Free Friday Night Jazz, Blues and More Concert Series.
This year’s performer was Butch Barbella and the Streets of the Bronx Band.
“Each year, we have a special evening of our summer series to honor our local veterans. We must always remember and honor those who served our country and remain such an important part of our city,” said Daniel Lipka, executive director of the Yonkers Downtown BID.
All summer, the Yonkers Downtown BID is presenting free music on the waterfront as part of its Friday Night Jazz, Blues and More series.
