Rabbi Mendy Hurwitz of the Chabad of Yonkers will lead the celebration. He will be joined by Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick, who will bless the Menorah, and Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, who will light the first candle.

There will be music, food, including potato latkes, and festivities.

The ceremony will take place at the center’s Town Square, between Cheesecake Factory and Brio Tuscan Grille. If there is heavy rain, the lighting will be moved to the WESTMED lobby.
